PROGRAMS
Africa Today Associates, Inc., undertakes several projects in pursuit of its mission of bringing together academics and advocates to make a difference in Africa.
Currently, ATA and its partners are implementing programs and projects in several areas, including health, education, and conflict resolution. In addition, the organization sponsors the Annual Julius Nyerere Memorial Seminar, which brings together local, national, and international academics and advocates to address the challenges and success faced by the people of Africa.
In partnership with the University of Denver (DU) in Colorado, USA, ATA's Professor Exchange Program bring African scholars to teach at the DU's Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS). The University, in turn, provide scholars to teach at an African University.
ATA's Research Program allow students at the University of Denver to undertake research for various organizations. Student researchers are guided by the University's faculty, and they explore humanitarian and socio-economic issues in Africa.
