COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
ATA is committed to working with the community to meet the social, political, and economic challenges faced by the people of Africa. This is consistent with ATA's belief that addressing the challenges of Africa requires collaborative effort.
ATA undertakes several programs oriented towards giving community members an opportunity to get involved. Through educational programs such as internships and fellowships, ATA gives students practical experience in studying and addressing the issues of Africa. Our volunteer and membership programs allow the general community to contribute to how the organization pursues its mission, while our Guest Lecture Series and Cultural Events programs present forums through which the community can add to their knowledge and understanding of Africa and the continent's various issues.
